Job Summary
- Cross Beverage Nigeria Limited is seeking a fresh graduate to join our Production team as a Production Officer.
- This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a career in FMCG beverage manufacturing, with hands-on exposure across our beverage production lines.
- Full training will be provided, and only successful candidates will be developed to work across multiple production lines as our product range grows. Reporting directly to the Production Manager/Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving productivity, reducing operational costs, and achieving sustainable growth in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management:
- Oversee daily factory operations and ensure consistent production output to meet demand targets.
- Plan and manage production schedules, monitor raw material usage, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor production processes (filling, sealing, packaging, etc.) and report deviations promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (GMP) across all beverage products handled.
- Maintain accurate production records and daily reports for each line
- Support inventory checks of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Work with the production team to identify and resolve minor operational issues
- Adapt to and support new product lines as the company’s beverage portfolio expands
- Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives
Planning, Resource & Cost Management:
- Assist in developing and executing monthly and quarterly production plans aligned with business goals.s
- Assist in controlling operational costs through effective resource utilisation and waste reduction strategies.
- Provide recommendations for continuous process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Food Science/Technology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Fresh graduate with prior IT (Industrial Training) or hands-on exposure to a food/beverage production line required
- Must possess NYSC discharge / exemption certificate
- Basic understanding of beverage/food production processes
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn new product lines
- Ability to work shifts and function well in a fast-paced factory environment
What We Offer
- Salary: N100,000 -N150,000 per month.
- Structured on-the-job training across multiple beverage production lines
